Welcome to CountysideLinks – fencing, groundwork and countryside management services for the South East, managed and provided by David Lewis and Rebecca Johns. CountrysideLinks combines our expertise in practical fencing and groundwork, with specialist knowledge and countryside management skills. Alongside keeping our own livestock and horses, excellent administrative and customer service skills and competitive pricing, we can provide a range of countryside services for individuals and businesses including fencing, access, groundwork, landscaping, paddock management, livestock and grazing.
We have our own machinery and are fully qualified, insured and competent in their use – so providing you with the best possible service in terms of skilled labour (we never send anyone else to do your job once we have been engaged to do it), excellent time management (we can arrive early and don’t have long breaks!) and professional and courteous at all times (we tidy up at the end too!).
David Lewis is a Graduate member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, holds a CSCS card, and has many years experience of owning and operating mini diggers, dumpers and other machines. He has an excellent ability to listen and understand what clients need and want, and the practical ability to have everything in the right place at the right time to carry out the job as specified, within the time scale and on budget. He is also qualified for PASMA Certificate of Competence for Tower Scaffold,C&G Level 3 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, First Aid Appointed Person and C&G Certificate 7303 (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector). Approachable and reliable, David can discuss various options for any job with you, provide information and advice if required and will attend site visits to provide free, no obligation quotes.
Rebecca is currently undertaking a part time Masters Degree in Environmental Management, to build on a foundation of countryside work, farming, administration and teaching Natural Horsemanship (see www.equineconnections.co.uk). She provides office support for David as well as working on site dumper driving, fencing, chainsaw work and other manual labour. She has particular expertise in paddock management and working with livestock and horses, and is also a qualified first aider and natural horsemanship instructor. Thorough and efficient, Rebecca is happy to work in the office, or on site and leads our paddock survey, management plans and ragwort pulling services!
